Chihully
In November, mom non and I went the the Denver Botanic Gardens to see Chihuly. He is a famous glass sculptor, and the gardens had a bunch of his work displayed. It was really pretty and he is a very talented artist.
Most of all, I really enjoyed the time spent with my mama. Her and I have such a great time together. We're always laughing!

From the Begining

Jordan and I bought our house in 2010. We live in a suburb south of Denver, Colorado. When we purchased our home, we planned to
fill it up quickly! Nearly 5 years
later, our dream of starting a family isn’t going quite as we thought it
would. Just this past September, we had
our first meeting with a Reproductive Endocrinologist. After many doctor appointments, several vials of blood drawn, a few
ultra sounds, two HSGs, and one semen analysis, the Docs have come to the
conclusion that I have a low ovarian reserve.
The short and sweet version of my diagnosis is that my egg count compares to a woman in her 40s. After listening to our options, and a lot of
praying, Jordan and I have decided to begin the journey of in vitro fertilization. This was no easy decision
for us and while there is no guarantee that we will get pregnant and have a
baby, we would hate to look back years later and think the ole "what if". So, we're going to give is a try.
I’m not starting this blog with intentions of it being all
about our infertility struggle, more of a journal of the path that gets us into
the future, a future God already has planned for us.
